How to measure windows and doors

When measuring windows and doors you should measure from the inside. We are looking for the measurement inside of the timber reveals as shown in the diagrams below. Please give measurements in millimetres. The height (vertical) should be given first followed by the width (horizontal).

  • We require the height first followed by the width; all measurements should be in millimetres.
  • Our windows are fitted with flyscreens and keylocks as standard (Sliding windows have vent-locks).

For each window please provide the following information:

Location: (e.g. Kitchen)

Height: (in millimetres)

Width: (in millimetres)

Window type: (e.g. sliding)

  • We require the height first followed by the width; all measurements should be in millimetres.
  • Our doors are fitted with locks, if you require an option such as a flyscreen or security screen please let us know. Two types of security screen are available, one is aluminium diamond grille. The other is Invisi-Gard stainless steel mesh.

For each window please provide the following information:

Width: (in millimetres)

Window type: (e.g. sliding)
